Every Sunday morning our Sunday School department provides a fun educational experience for all ages! All classes through the primary class enjoy times of singing, teaching, crafts, etc.
While our Sunday School is designed to be entertaining and fun, the focus is to impart the word of God to the children in every class in a manner that will impact their lives. Age appropriate Bible lessons are delivered by teachers who love and have a burden for children.
The disciples came to Jesus one day and asked, “Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?” Jesus called a little child to him and said to them, “Therefore whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.” (Matthew 18:4 NKJV)
What a wonderful privilege it is to actually sit every week and help mold the lives of those who Jesus called “the greatest.”
“And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receiveth me.” (Matthew 18:5 KJV)
The “greatest” stand before us and our mission is to reach them with God’s Word and God’s Love!
The ages and teachers of classes are:
Toddler Class (O-3 years old) – Mary Ann Fuller and Sarah Pennington Still
Jesus loves the little children. All the children of the world! Red and yellow, black and white, They are precious in His sight! Jesus loves the little children of the world!
The Toddler class is full of love. Love for each other and love for Jesus!
Beginners Class (5 – 7 years old) – Amanda Cook
The “Beginner Class” welcomes children into a rainforest setting; a place where we learn about an Amazing God who made everything around us just because He loves us so much! Our classroom is an atmosphere of praise for our Great, Big, Wonderful God!
Primary Class (8 – 11 years old)– Claudette Hollis
The “primary” purpose of our classroom is to establish a desire in our children to have a close and personal relationship with their Savior Jesus Christ through fun and exciting bible lessons that directly relate to their lives.
